THE PEOPLES DJ

DJ FlatlineLay (aka DJ Flatline: The Peoples DJ) is a US Army Veteran and DJ based out of Charlottesville, Va.  He officially started his career as a Mobile DJ in 2009 covering weddings and events in central Va. 

For the past 10+ years DJ FlatlineLay has been in the DMV DJing over 120+ weddings and 200+ events for industry artist such as Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Yung Berg, Waka Flocka, K Camp, Jacquees, Keyshia Cole, Project Pat, Twista, Kevin Gates, Young Dolph, Maino, DC Go-Go bands CCB, Junkyard Band, Backyard band, Diamond of Crime Mob, Kstylis, Will Traxx, and Trina. He has also played along side veteran DJ's such as Southern Smokes DJ Smallz, Power 105's DJ Self, Crush Groovy, Plies official DJ, DJ Phalie, Freebandz DJ and 93.9 WKYS DJ Joiyce, and Richmond Va's #1 DJ 106-5 The Beat DJ Sir RJ.

In 2012 FlatlineLay became the newest DJ in Central Va's hottest DJ promotion/entertainment company Hit The Deck Ent. During that same year he became a DJ on 91.9 The Boombox for The Saturday Night Takeover Radio Show. He then received his own 2 hour Radio Show The Boombox Throwback Thursday Live with co host Black Market and DJ Groovemasta. In December of 2016 DJ FlatlineLay became a Mix Squad DJ on Charlottesville's urban radio station 101 Jamz. He played on shows such as The Rise and Grind Morning Show, The Chris Newman Show, and now has his own 1/2 hour premier mix show SMASH CITY RADIO FLAT-MIX @6 which runs Monday - Friday at 6pm on 101 Jamz. In 2017 DJ FlatlineLay became an official member and President of C'ville based DJ Crew, Hurt City.

DJ FlatlineLay has become well respected as a mentor and innovator in a number of areas during his career. He is considered a veteran presence in the local DJ community. Music has always been his passion ever since he was very young. He enjoys doing quality live mixes on the turntables to all types of genres. He always aims to satisfy his clients.
